Life is truly a journey.
Mine began six decades ago in Malaysia. Strangely enough though I have grown up as a citizen everywhere but my birthplace. But this is not unusual for many of us. Being a stranger means you can call each destination you stop at your home – better still, it allows you to notice and celebrate the differences in the places you live and it further helps you establish commonalities in what would seem at first glance total opposites of the cultural and human spectrum.
But what makes it really interesting is to be able to take part in solving the world’s problems, bit by bit, and one at a time. So far, my journey has embraced the experience of being a scholar, a consultant, a writer, a trainer, a teacher, a husband, a parent, a cancer survivor, a corporate director, an innovator and a do-er.
